IMO, Keywords in the URL has some value especially with higly competitive keyword e.g golf [to use an overused example]... But in less competitive niches, it's looks at other factors a lot rather than the URL....

Google is aware of keywords in URLs, however, the value of it is very very small. One good link is worth more.

URLs are mostly for brand purposes, not SEO.

Don't worry so much about onpage factors...

(IMO) 99% of the SEO advice you read online is complete garbage......

Just Do This

1) Make sure your page titles closely match your targeted keywords

2) Produce really good content

3) Get as many Trusted, Authority and Relevant Links as you can

(IMO)If you want to rank number 1, you can't afford to be wasting your time on anything else!

Having the keyword in the url is really important.
If in doubt then do a search on your chosen keyword and see what sites come up.

Only old sites without a keyword url will be ahead!

well, I think that the url name will have some influence (though the seo experts that I have read don't give it much influence, meaning a low value)...
but I feel  the title and description metatags, keyword optimization as much more important than anything else..
Thus one should first focus on important issues of on-page optimization SEO..... The later on you could try out some good domain name, because it certainly doesn't hurt to have keywords in domain name...

Having the keyword in URL is worth 10% of search engine rankings. The most important is seo and quality backlinks.
