Before using manch5 mailer, I was using some other email marketing software. And frankly speaking I was not looking for a change before I saw mach5 in action in one of my vendor’s office. Its overall performance forced me to stop the use of previous one and start using mach5. Moreover it was such easy to install and configure the software so that transition seemed very smooth. It provided an exhaustive step-by-step guide during installation and configuration. And after installing this software, I understood that bounce management is a breeze with this software. Their pop manager software completely removed the headache of bounce management. Now this bounce management is almost automated. I have connected the software with Microsoft access and the two conjoined system is running smoothly. They also have facility like re-configurable mail delivery control. And now I can analyze the performance of the campaign management easily using fast stat log analyzer. If you are campaign manager of your organization, then my sincere recommendation that you should give a try to this software.

Mach 5 mailer has many good capabilities which can make them one of the top email marketing softwares. For example their pop manager gold is a mind blowing creation for bounce handling. However they have certain shortfalls which I feel needs to be corrected. Like I think it could be more users friendly and easy to use. Sending an MIME mail with mach5 often becomes somehow complicated. I hope mach5 will look into this issue and try to find out some out of the box solution. However their anti-spam policy is truly respectable. According to their website, they can take legal action against you if you abuse the software. Their web analytics is a kind of treat in the users’ eyes. You can connect with good ODBC data sources like MS Access, Oracle, Excel with mach 5. You will also get integrated PHP, Javascript, and VBScript scripting. They also have good list maintenance methods and automatic bounce handling procedure.

Out of the many mach5 features, what attracted my attention is their m5 subscriber – which is basically a good web integration facilitator. It helps you to run web based subscription management and email tracking. So you do not need to bother about the information management risk. If your in bound mails have very high volume and consumes most of your valuable time in doing manual work then pop manager is the right thing awaiting for you. Pop manager simply smoothens the job of handling high volumes inbound mails. Also you will get many free ready made email templates. This will be particularly use full to online ad-designer like me who is always busy with may other marketing issue and have no extra time to design email templates individually. You will get flexible email delivery method – like easy scheduling, fast out bound mail delivery. Your sending methods can have multiple options like - Remote SMTP Server, Local SMTP (similar to direct send in other programs) with ArGoSoft . Then what are you waiting for ? Simply go and get it.

If you ask me what do you like in mach5 mailer, I will definitely reply that it is to be their scripting facility. Amazingly, they can work with java script, visual basic script and PHP too! This scope allows basic users to perform simple tasks like variable substitution (i.e. Dear $CustomerName), It can also provide the power of a user-definable scripting language to more advanced users. Its GUI helps the non technical users to operate it quite smoothly. If you think that you are not so comfortable in web analytics, then do not be worried. Their fast stat log analyzer can bring out an expert out of a novice! These feature can definitely be useful to your company, irrespective of your company size – it may be large or medium or small or anything. Mach5 mailer has strict guide line regarding anti spamming. Its website integration facility is also very good and has a state of the art add on software. With it, your clients can chose their own email options, and they can send their feed back data directly to your website.

Out of the many good features that are provided by mach5, I liked three things – M5 subscriber, fast stat log analyzer, pop manager, and many free exciting multimedia templates. It can use 20 threads simultaneously for mail generation and delivery. This fast deliver model is surprising. However their scheduler is there to save your bandwidth. You can spare your internet lines from sending mail when other traffic is at peak. Just tell the scheduler to look for an idle period for sending mails and it will do it. You will get flexible licensing like regular and gold. So if you are small or big organization, you can play your own choice. With a mach5 in hand what not you can do, when it comes to CRM? – You will get more repeat visitors, truly reinforcing relationship, you can be professional and personnel at same point of time to touch customer’s heart.
