When I was looking for suitable software for my campaign management through e-mail, I was a bit confused. After pondering over various other softwares, I zeroed down on groupmail, thanks to the suggestion given by a colleague of mine. Its performance is simply superb. My greatest fear was how I will manage all the email id of people smoothly. That list concludes all segments of customers – potential customers who need regular follow up, newly acquired customers, old and loyal customers. Managing the long list of this entire customer became so easy using Email Inspector. Plus I was able to send personalized mail to all these customers using the scripts provided by group mail. Using the database integration facility, my colleagues were able to run a full and automated market research after collecting and disseminating the customer feedback data. Finally I must give my thumbs up to the “spam issue” handling maneuver provided by group mail.

Group mail is a great email marketing tool. From holistic system level view point, probably it is unparalleled in the whole industry. For example - Integration facility with good external database makes it superior. It can import lists and their groups from number of resources. The scripting language used by group mail for personalization is good, but it could be more powerful, sophisticated and more flexible. It provides good guidance how to not send spam mail in your most valuable customer’s mail box. It has comprehensive mail merging features and it also can be added with number of plug ins which brings in nice features like automatic bounce handling, taking care of address violation issue, and many more things like that. It essentially solved all our problems involving email marketing issue and our marketing department is extremely satisfied over their improved impetus in performance. However I must mention that the web analytics of this software can be improved a little bit to make it more users friendly.

When one of my juniors suggested switching over group mail, I was little bit skeptic to be honest. However her continuous insistence made me thinking otherwise, and then I started using the trial version to be 100% sure. After using the trial version just for few hours, I had no more doubt or suspicion about group mail and I went ahead straight to purchase the business edition version of group mail. And now I can’t think of using any other software to mange my email marketing section. It got some kind of extremely power full script which helps me to make more customized and personalized email. For example, nobody any more make the mistake of writing male pronouns while sending a mail to female customer. And group management is very easy with this software – you can do anything you want to do – like search, copy, move, modify, purge, merge, import, export, delete, sort, print and many more.
